Introducing DrawAndRace
DrawAndRace is a simple piece of software that lets you turn 2D artwork into a 3D racing game.  The project started in April 2013 with a tiny but successful kickstarter campaign.  Check out the kickstarter video to see the original idea.
Step 1 - Draw a Race Track
To create your own racetrack, all you need to do is grab a pencil and paper, draw a racetrack and take a photo. Of course, you’re not limited to using a pencil; you can use coloured pens, paints or pastels to create a full colour race track.
Step 2 - Make it 3D
The DrawAndRace software lets you turn your photo of your racetrack into a 3D terrain.  You can use the mouse to paint hills and valleys directly onto the track. You can tweak the gameplay by marking areas as off-road and placing checkpoints on the track.
